She's No Dragonfly

"Mumma, I want my tinkerbell pen".
"Mumma, I want my tinkerbell pen".
"Mumma, I want my tinkerbell pen".
After a few moments I found and handed custody of the tinkerbell pen to little Miss Haana.
A few seconds later: "Mumma, look her wings move!"
"Her wings move!"
I turn around to look, "Oh ya! They do! Let me take a look."
Little girl handed Miss Tinkerbell to me.
I looked at the shapely long green wings on Tinkerbell's back. I squeezed my finger in between the wings and wiggled it to make the wings move slightly. But instead- crack!
The right wing broke with a crack!
"Oh no!!!!" I screamed with foreboding! What had I done!
Little in-control Miss Haana told me- "It's ok Mumma! It wasn't your fault!"
I looked at her and whispered, "But it was my fault, Gugu!"
"It's okay Mumma, we'll fix it with tape. It's alright. Don't worry okay? Don't. Worry."
Then after a pause she added, "She didn't want to be a dragonfly, anyway!"
We giggled!
