Where To Watch TV From

Scene: 

Dad and Miss Haana are at home, hanging out. The TV is playing Miss Haana's favorite baby show. Papa is in kitchen. He sees the little girl is watching TV from up too close.

Papa: Gugu, go and sit on the sofa. Don't be so close to tv.

Miss Haana: (no reaction)

Papa: Suhaana, don't watch TV from there, i will switch it off otherwise.

Miss Haana: (Still glued to her baby show) (no reaction)

Papa: Suhaana.. (A bit stern now)

Miss Haana: (Still glued to her baby show) (no reaction)

Papa: (loosing his cool now- very stern ). Suhaana! Sit on the sofa now. 

Miss Haana: (Still no reaction. Totally don't-care!)

Papa: (Gotto-teach-her-a-lesson-mode. Walks over to the TV purposefully and visibily mad.)

Miss Haana: (Meanwhile has cooly walked over and is now sitting on her Minnie Mouse sofa. She looks over innocently at Papa and waves her hand).Hi! Hi Papa!

(Mumma's verdict: smart kitten!)

No Throwing

"Papa phone?! "

Papa gives her the cellphone.

"Noo! No phone."

Changed her mind.

Papa flings phone to the sofa ( just a feet away)

A little girl knits her eyebrows and frowns her forehead.

"No throwing, no no."

Papa with sheepish smile: "Sorry!"

First 5 Steps

Amongst other things we also have a climber abode. If left to her devices this little doll will climb over everything she can. Mom n Dad, ottomans, dining table( from the chair), sofa, stairs( big favorite), tv table; and any other road bump should it present itself.

When she can, she stands up. She holds up and gets up on her feet. Then at times she stands up on her feet, takes a step or two and then falls down.

Today for the very first time, she just took one step after the other and took 5 steps before she fell back down! 5 steps! That has never happened before. Way to go little girl!!!
